Help 93.1 Katy Country, Pediatric Dentistry of Sherman, Knight Furniture & Mattress, Texas Farm Bureau Insurance – Gene Darnell and Simmons Bank honor amazing local educators in North Texas and Southern Oklahoma (specifically, teachers who work in Grayson, Fannin, Cooke, Bryan, Marshall, Atoka & Johnston County Schools). Nominate a teacher today for our 2023-2024 Teacher of the Year Program!

Here’s all you need to do to nominate YOUR favorite teacher:

Fill out the official online nomination form (below). This form may be completed by administrators, other teachers, parents and students. The more information received about the nominee, the better opportunity the nominee has to be chosen as the Katy Country Teacher of the Month by our judges.

Winners will be chosen once per month, September 2023 through May 2024.

Each month, judges will choose the winning teacher among the nominees submitted and that teacher will receive checks from our sponsors, totaling $1,000, to use however they want!

Each month’s winning teacher will join Katy Country during a Teacher of the Month Interview, where they are presented their award.

All Teachers of the Month will then be honored at the end of the school year when the Teacher of the Year is announced. The person selected as our Teacher of the Year will receive another set of checks from our sponsors, totaling $1,000!
