Dan Acree was playing Willie Nelson records on the radio when Willie had short hair and didn't owe anything to the IRS. His first radio show was at age 13 on KOKL-AM in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. He knows country music. "Radio is a soundtrack for life. It's what keeps you entertained and keeps you humming," says Acree. "Local radio is about local life: where to go, what to do. Take me with you on your smart phone and I'll hang out with you at the hardware store, or keep me on your boom box and I'll pump up the hits while you're out on the lake. Work through your Honey-Do's or have some fun. I'll bring the music."
