National Day of Prayer is a City Wide Prayer & Worship Event

Towne Lake Park's West Pavilion

There will be Multi-church Worship Band and Choir

Mayor Brian Loughmiller will give the Proclamation.

Theme for this year's is "One Voice, United in Prayer" (Romans 15:6)

 

History of NDP:

The National Day of Prayer was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress, and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman, inviting people of all faiths to pray for the nation. It is a nationwide annual observance held on the first Thursday in May, celebrated by millions of Americans.
